  • One of the few descriptions that acquaints the whole world with Nepal is: Country where Buddha was born. Although in the recent times there were some controversies over the nativity of Buddha, UNESCO’s enlisting of Lumbini into its list of heritages and, most importantly, several archaeological discoveries by explorers in different times reinforce the fact that Buddha was indeed born in Lumbini, in Nepal.
